Started playing drums and percussion in 1996, became a professional educator in 2005. He had his education on Rock, Funk and Jazz Drumming in Berklee College of Music. Gerçek Dorman, worked with many local and international bands. In addition to Büyük Birader he is an official member of the World music band Maya and the Greek music band ''Thallassa''. Dorman is the director of many projects like International Internet Orchestra, Connection of Rhythms, Rhythm Kitchen and he composes musics for movies and plays. He has lots of drum and percussion performances in many cities worldwide besides that he is the creator of “RythmGym” which includes rhythm, dance and the sport. His method named D52 Drum Lessons in 52 Weeks is published by Görünmez Adam publications in 2013. Nowadays, he works for KV331 Software Company as a sound designer and product manager for their Synth Master synthesizers.
