Drummer, vibraphonist, respected educator, and sought-after sideman. He has performed at more than 80 venues worldwide and contributed to numerous recordings, including film and theatre music productions.
Over a career spanning 35 years, he has appeared on stages across Poland, Europe, the United States, and Japan, covering a wide spectrum of musical genres. He has performed at major festivals such as Jazz Juniors (Kraków), Warsaw Autumn, Poznań Music Spring, Berlin Inventionen, Bratislava Melos-Étos, the Nuremberg Gostenhofer Jazz Tage, and international percussion festivals in New Jersey and Bamberg.
Winner of the Jazz Forum magazine readers’ poll in the category Vibraphonist of the Year (1992).
He has collaborated with many leading artists, including Ewa Demarczyk, Marek Grechuta & Anawa (recording their final album Incredible Places), Grzegorz Turnau, Piotr Rubik, Anna Serafińska, Halina Mlynkowa, Vadim Brodsky, and many others, as well as numerous orchestras, theatre companies, and ensembles across Poland.
His work extends to theatre and media, including productions at Teatr Variété (Chicago, Pretty Woman, Rent, Do dwóch razy sztuka), appearances on Polish television (TVP2, TVN), and recordings for RMF FM. He has also contributed drum loop recordings for the Netigen mobile application.
A graduate with distinction from the Academy of Music in Kraków (Percussion class of Jan Pilch), he is also a certified educator. He teaches at music schools in Kraków and Bibice, where many of his students have become prize winners in national percussion competitions.
