Can Kalyoncu was born in İstanbul on February 8, 1993. He started playing drums in his high school years. Later he got into the Department of Music and Performing Arts at Yıldız Technical University and received Jazz performance education. He took drum lessons from Şenol Küçükyıldırım and ensemble lessons from Kamil Erdem. Meanwhile, he performed in various clubs and festivals with the bands No Land and Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz. In 2014, he recorded the albums named “Otoban Sıcağı” with Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz and “Aramızda” with No Land. In 2015, he started playing with İstanbul Gençlik Caz Orkestrası led by Baki Duyarlar. In 2016, he joined the band Jakuzi. He also started playing drums in the glam rock musical named “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.” He has been playing drums in many projects such as this one and so forth, including his participations in jazz concerts and studio recordings with different names.
