Gaoxing is an excellent percussionist who often performs and touring with many Chinese artists.
In 2002, he went to Havana, Cuba to study modern percussion in the music department of Ministerio DE Cultura Instituto Superior DE Arte Cuba, majoring in Cuban ethnic percussion.
In 2011, he and his friends formed China's first Latin band LOS AMIGOS.
