Born and raised in Richmond, California and currently a resident of New York City, Brown is dazzling audiences around the world with his unique diversified style and musical sensibility. Constantly learning and growing in more than one direction, he is suitable for any musical situation. Brown is a regular member touring with the Gerald Clayton Trio and the Ambrose Akinmusire Quintet. Considered to be one of NYC's first call drummers, his his been privilege to grace the stage artist such as Esperanza Spaulding, Terence Blanchard, Gretchen Parlato, Kenny Garrett, Christian McBride, Stefon Harris, Bilal, Ledisi, Nicolas Payton, Josh Roseman, Yosvany Terry, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, and Vijay Iyer.
