Luca Caruso is a drummer, musical director, producer and songwriter from London. At the age of 17, he was awarded a scholarship to The Royal Academy of Music to pursue his studies under the instruction of Ian Thomas and Martin France. As well as performing in jazz clubs internationally, he has toured theatres and festivals with a multitude of fantastic artists including Orlando Weeks, Cian Ducrot, Delilah Montagu and Dylan Fraser. Alongside maintaining a prolific career as a live session musician, Luca has also played on albums and appeared on TV/Radio with Yellow Days, Orlando Weeks, Isaac Gracie, Quinn Oulton, Angelina Jordan, Alfie Boe and Michael Ball. Through an understanding and love for the piano, Luca has uncovered a passion for writing and producing in studio environments. He is currently working on various projects which will be released later in the year and 2022, as well as leading his own trio with childhood friends Peter Wilson and Seth Tackaberry which leans in the directions of psychedelic rock and jazz, further exploring their shared passion for improvised music and composition. Luca recently joined beabadoobee's band and is set to tour the world throughout 2022, following a busy festival season and autumn 2021 touring with the project.
