His performance combines world music, middle eastern music, Latin music and other style elements. He once played percussion in the 63 military art troupe of the Beijing military region and the 40 military art troupe of the garrison art troupe. After the resignation from the troupe, Yin worked at Qingdao Art school as a professional percussion lecturer.
In 2001, he studied under Professor SANO (ONO ONO) at the Tongpeng Music University, in Tokyo and Studied percussion with professor MASUMOTO of Tokyo University of the arts.
